React 2048 Game

React 2048 Game With Source Code

React 2048 Game is a simple and classic block game. The goal of the game is to assemble numbered tiles on a grid to make a tile with the number 2048, although players can keep playing the game after achieving the objective to create tiles with higher numbers. It was initially created over the course of a weekend using JavaScript and CSS, and it was made available on March 9, 2014, under the terms of the MIT License. In May 2014, versions for iOS and Android were released.

React 2048 Game Playing Tips

Every turn, a new tile with a value of either 2 or 4 appears in an empty space on the board. 2048 is played on a simple 44 grid with numbered tiles that slide when a player moves them using the four arrow keys. Tiles slide as far as they can in the chosen direction until they are either stopped by another tile or the edge of the grid. When two tiles with the same number meet, they merge into a single tile with the sum of their individual values. This tile cannot combine with another tile in the same move. Higher-scoring tiles illuminate softly; the highest tile is 131,072 points.
